Ice Dam Attack Liquid Roof Ice Melt is an environmentally friendly ice melter that will not harm roofing materials or vegetation below. Ice dams form when there is snow on the roof, and the roof temperature is above zero, and the temperature of the overhand and gutters is below freezing. The melted snow that runs down the colder part of the roof turns into an ice dam, which can cause roof damage, as well as interior damage to the home. Formula is chloride free, urea free and effective at fighting ice dams. Immediate release liquid acts fast to melt ice. Use alone, or in combination with Ice Dam First Attack and Ice Dam Blaster sleeves (both sold separately). Ice Dam Attack Liquid Ice Melt can also be used to open gutters and downspouts.
